Marie Skłodowska-Curie University

The Maria Curie-Sklodowska University (UMCS) is a state institution of higher education established in Lublin, Poland in 1944. It offers academic programmes at undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels at ten faculties, incl. Law and Administration. UMCS also runs the Foreign Languages Teaching Centre. An important educational institution is the university's Main Library with a network of faculty libraries, as well as the British Council Library. The University has 57 465 students, 839 doctoral students and 1844 superbly educated academic staff and highly qualified specialists in many fields. The University is a member of the EUA. The Maria Curie-Sklodowska University co-operates closely with the local government and business. Several teachers from School of Law promote up-to-date knowledge in the field of economic law connected with the practice.
